HIH Invest acquires solar park in the Eifel

HIH Invest Real Estate has acquired an 18 MWp solar park in Rhineland-Palatinate for the HIH Green Energy Invest fund.


Developed on former agricultural land by greentech, it began operation in September 2024 under a 20-year EEG remuneration tariff. The fund focuses on renewable energy across Europe, supporting the energy transition.


 

 

AIKO strengthens partnership with Energy3000 to expand high-efficiency solar solutions in Europe

Under this partnership, AIKO will supply N-Type ABC modules, including the latest third-generation INFINITE series, accelerating the adoption of high-efficiency solar solutions across Europe.




 

Nidec Conversion cooperates with Obton and KYON ENERGY for one of the largest stand-alone battery storage systems in Germany

Nidec Conversion, Obton, and KYON ENERGY are building a 137.5 MW/282 MWh battery storage system in Alfeld, Lower Saxony, to be operational by summer 2026. Designed to stabilize the grid and integrate renewable energy, the modular system includes advanced inverters and management tools.


Obton leads financing, while KYON handles design and operation. The project supports Germany's 100% renewable energy goal by 2032, addressing energy storage challenges and contributing to a resilient, sustainable energy infrastructure in Europe.

 

 

 

PNE aims for higher Group EBITDA in the 2025 financial year

Berlin-based solar contractor RE.source has commissioned one of Germany's largest rooftop PV systems in Leipzig, spanning 110,000 m² with 11 MWp output and 26,868 modules.


Greentech supported the project through planning, construction, and commissioning, focusing on electrical planning, grid connection, and system communication. Greentech will also manage the system's technical operations, ensuring secure remote monitoring and updates.


The project highlights greentech's expertise in overcoming challenges, delivering high-quality construction, and fostering sustainable energy solutions. Greentech manages RE.source's rooftop portfolio of 35 MWp.
