Hamburger Energiewerke has acquired a 74.9% stake in two open-space photovoltaic parks near Schwerin from WEMAG, which retains a 25.1% share. The Pinnow park has an 18 MW capacity with a 6 MW/6 MWh battery, generating 19 GWh annually.

The Tarzow park has a 30 MW capacity with a 10 MW/10 MWh battery, producing over 31 GWh per year. Together, they power 20,000 households. This move aligns with Hamburger Energiewerke’s goal of generating 800 GWh of renewable electricity by 2030. The partnership strengthens Germany’s energy transition by linking rural renewable energy production with urban demand.

Project financing of EUR 7 million for the construction of a 10 MW photovoltaic plant completed

CCE Holding has secured €7 million in project financing from Rabobank to build a 10 MW photovoltaic plant in Rafelder, Gelderland. Set for grid connection in summer 2025, the plant is being constructed on a former landfill, combining green energy generation with land rehabilitation.

This marks CCE’s second collaboration with Rabobank, following a 23 MW project in Marknesse. The state-guaranteed 6.8-cent feed-in tariff ensures financial stability. Together, the Rafelder and Marknesse plants will generate 31 GWh annually, supplying 12,500 households with clean energy. Rabobank praised the project as a model of sustainable land use.
